Specifications and standards are at the heart of the VoiceXML Forum’s work. Standards organizations, such as the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), and the International Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS), are responsible for the technical development and advancement of industry specifications, including VoiceXML. To complement and extend the work of these standards organizations, the VoiceXML Forum creates a wide variety of publications, including requirements, best practices, and use cases.
