The VoiceXML Tools Committee consists
of four working groups: Data Logging WG; Metalangauge WG;
Advanded Dialogs WG, and Open Source Grammars WG.
The metalanguage effort is supported by the VoiceXML Tools Committee as part of the objective of increasing the quality, availability, and interoperability of software for building and supporting VoiceXML-based speech services. This is done by creating specifications that allow tools to be platform-independent and vendor-independent, so that tools and applications created by different vendors are compatible.
VoiceXML Forum members are encouraged to participate on the metalanguage working group to help define requirements.
To participate in the Data Logging Working Group, Members may login to the intranet, select "Forums" and check the "subscribe" box next to the Tools Committee. If your company is not a member, you are invited to consider joining the VoiceXML Forum.
