VoiceXML Certification – problem reporting

The VoiceXML Conformance Committee recognizes that during testing, problems with test suites, the conformance process, and interpretations / disagreements about the intention of the VoiceXML specifications are inevitable.

This page provides a problem reporting mechanism relating to the VoiceXML Certification program.

Search for a Problem Report

Before raising a new problem report you should search the database to see if your issue has already been addressed.

Problem Reports will be classified as follows:

Specification Deficiencies (SD)
- Specification Problems including ambiguous, contradictory, and non-deterministic specification issues encountered during implementation.Test

Suite Deficiencies (TSD)
- Test Suite problems may include but are not limited to the following:
  • Ambiguous or non-deterministic results.
  • Differences in results or the tests designed to achieve the desired results.
  • Assumptions made by the test operator during test execution.
Process Deficiencies (PD) - This captures any problems with the certification program and compliance process include the documentation, administration and program infrastructure.
