Vice President or Director of Voice / Telephony Technologies

Location: Boston, MA (Position AXG-910)
Senior management opportunity with an exciting, growing company facilitating payments over the web and telephone. Company�s growth has generated the need for a VP or Director level person to oversee Voice Technologies. Position requires a strong IVR / VoiceXML / Network Operations background.
Requirements:
- Seven (plus) years experience managing voice and data connectivity and infrastructure
- Experience with VoIP, SIP, TCP/IP, PSTN, POTS
- Experience with Unix/Linux, NT/2000, Oracle, Ant, CVS
- Proven background with VoiceXML, VXML, or similar speech recognition platforms and technologies
Related Skills & Experience:
- Must possess a passion for deploying downtime-free network systems
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Experience working on financial services applications a plus
Will provide technical direction and product strategy for a small, high-caliber team of software engineers and applications developers in the architecture, design and development of speech-based applications and supporting data network infrastructure. The company has deep roots in speech-enabled telephony applications and secure financial transactions.
