Looking for enthusiastic Software Programmers with expertise in VoiceXML, Audium, and Advanced Speech Recognition IVR solutions to join a
rapidly expanding CTI solutions team. As an IVR Software Engineer, you will have hands-on exposure to a wide range of technologies. You will be responsible for providing technical solutions to meet the various needs of our clients. You will enjoy involvement in the full-life-cycle of an implementation project, while interacting closely with the client to meet specific needs throughout the process. You will work as part of a team of professionals that play a key role in implementing solutions and delivering results.
Responsibilities:
* Interpret and analyze business requirements to identify risks and design appropriate solutions
* Collaborate with functional consultants to write design specifications
* Develop solutions to implement client-specific interfaces, call flows, and speech requirements
* Develop and assess the capabilities and limitations of the applications and technologies and recommend alternatives and solutions
* Provide guidance for business decisions from a technical perspective on such issues as performance, scalability, reliability, and security
Required Skills & Experience:
* 2+ years experience in IVR design and development
* 2+ plus in years experience in VoiceXML IVR technologies
* J2EE
* .NET
* JSP, ASP, Perl, etc.
* XML
* 1+ year experience in Audium development
* Experience in developing advanced speech applications. Ideal candidate will have experience with ScanSoft and Nuance speech engines/tools with emphasis on ScanSoft.
Desired Experience:
* User Interface (UI) design
* Grammar development
* Usability
* Experience with web technology and application server design is a plus WebLogic Tomcat WebSphere IIS/Apache Integration with back-end data systems and CTI Cisco ICM, Genesys UR HTTP/XML Web Services Database via SQL, JDBC/ADO.NET
* Experience with VXML platforms such as GVP, CVP/ISN, Tell-Me, Voice Genie is a plus
* Experience in traditional IVR platforms such as Intervoice, Edify, or Nortel is a plus
* Knowledge of database management system such as Oracle or SQL Server
* Experience in creating design documents and executing test plans
