Speech Recognition Analyst - Application Performance Analysis and Tuning

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for analyzing speech recognition application performance to ensure exceptional caller satisfaction and transaction completion; analyze call logs/data to find trends in caller behavior; determine key metrics and create reports providing analysis on both client and platform levels.
MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
� Speech Application Performance Analysis and Tuning
� Perform a proactive analysis of speech recognition applications to ensure exceptional caller satisfaction and transaction completion; analyze call logs/caller data for trends in caller behavior, including review of live calls and call recordings; prepare reports/presentations of caller behavior, experience, and application improvement recommendations; identify and track caller problems to final resolution, recommending areas for improvement to application, including voice user interface design and related grammars.
� Determine key metrics for the analysis of client and platform level reports.
KNOWLEDGE
� Applied computer analysis techniques
� Knowledge of speech recognition, speaker verification and text-to-text speech technology
� Knowledge of statistics and human factors
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
� Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, linguistics, mathematics, statistics, symbolic systems, or a related field. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
� Minimum three years experience conducting business analysis required, with a minimum of one year of experience in speech recognition technology preferred.
� Minimum one year experience in at least one of the following standards/programming language is preferred: GSL, VXML, GRXML, JAVA, CCXML, TCL, C++, HTML, ECMS, ABNF, SSML, SRGS, SISR, or voice biometrics.
� Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
