Professional Services Consultant
Location: San Francisco Bay Area (Position AXG-998)
Job Description:
As a v-Business solutions expert, you will be responsible for understanding our customer�s business and technical requirements, mapping those requirements to the company�s product functionality and defining the configuration settings, customizations, and implementation architecture necessary for delivering the ultimate caller experience. You will also be responsible for managing customer deployments, including traveling on site when necessary, providing installation and training support, and maintaining ongoing customer service excellence. Finally, you will manage the company�s flagship hosted service product offerings.
Primary Responsibilities:
� Analyze customer requirements and design v-Business solutions that provide exceptional business value
� Map both business and technical requirements to existing product functionality
� Design and develop product customizations and third party integrations
� Perform project management tasks, such as project schedules, work plans and risk assessments
� Provide technical support for customers and partners in pre and post-sales situations
� Responsible for overall customer satisfaction
Key Qualifications:
� Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, computer science or electrical engineering
� 2-5 years experience as a project consultant in the IT industry
� Strong technical skills and background
� Knowledge of speech technologies (ASR, TTS, VXML) preferred
� Development experience with Java application servers required
� Experience with databases such as Oracle and MySQL required
� Excellent problem-solving skills
� Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
� Ability to work constructively with other people and be a solid contributor in a team environment
� Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with partners and clients
� Proven expertise in understanding customer business needs and exceeding client expectations
