Senior Voice User Interface Designer, Speech Self-Service Technology
Location: Silicon Valley, CA Position ID: AXG-1139
Career opportunity with a leading-edge developer of speech self-service technology for call centers for a Senior Voice User Interface Designer. Will design advanced voice user interfaces for conversational speech applications. Requires strong customer focus and willingness to be hands-on with a full-range of responsibilities.
Responsibilities: Define and implement industry best practices in VUI design, recording and testing. Serve as the Voice User Interface Lead on key implementation projects.
Specific tasks will include:
* Gather and analyze caller and business requirements to design successful voice applications
* Create application specifications and Voice User Interface requirements documents
* Create leading edge interface design, exploring new ideas and approaches
* Develop call flow, dialogs, and prompts to accomplish business and caller satisfaction goals as stated in the requirements documents
* Set industry standards, style guides and implementation methodologies
* Assist our content and dialog developers during the application development phase
* Coordinate and brief internal and external voice talents
* Establish best practices for usability testing including the management of process and usability test analysis
* Analyze speech applications for performance and compliance to business and caller satisfaction goals
The ideal candidate must have the following:
* Professional writing and prompt design experience
* Native-level English fluency
* Experience with usability testing
* Experience working closely with customers, partners and speech application developers
* Microsoft Windows skills, including MS Office, Visio, Cool Edit/Adobe Audition or equivalent audio processing tools.
