Hello,

ich have one question and hope someone can help me. I want test the object-element. But it doesen't work. The interpreter don't like the codetype="xxx"-attribute. When I erase the attribute the interpreter says that I have to add codetype-attribute. What value musst I give codetype when I want call a jar-File?

Any ideas? [Smile]

Regards

Chris

The object tag is optional and provides an "escape hatch" for vendors to expose platform-specific features to VoiceXML. Many vendors have wisely chosen not to implement it, as it reintroduces one of the very problems VoiceXML set out to resolve in the first place... non-portable IVR applications!

Its not clear from your posting which VoiceXML platform you are using, so its going to be impossible for anybody here to help you. You should avoid using object tag if possible. If you must, you'll need to consult the documentation or help desk provided by your platform vendor.
