Hi,

I have an ASP web application already in place and I would like to create a IVR counterpart in VoiceXML and use the existing ASP application to do the database queries. Is this feasible? If so, can anyone provide some good references for using VoiceXML with ASP? Sample code will also be greatly appreciated!

Your ASP knowledge is immediately applicable to VoiceXML - just generate VoiceXML markup instead of HTML. You can learn more about VoiceXML by reading the specification or working your way through a number of helpful online tutorials. The VoiceXML Forum has an online tutorial, and Tellme has a nice set of tutorials as well:

The spec: http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/REC-voicexml20-20040316/

Hi,

i'am also starting with voicexml but I'am still not sure what technology to use. I our Company we make a lot with asp.net but java has this nice tag libraries. Is there something similar in asp.net? I've also looked at the .net httphandler, the .net version of servlets but i think its a bad approach to code all the template code within a .cs file.
I need an idea of the global architecture. Are there any examples available?
