All companies interested in promoting VoiceXML and other speech-based technologies are encouraged to join the VoiceXML Forum as Promoter or Supporter members. Companies joining or renewing before December 31, 2008 will receive a 10% discount on membership fees.*
As a Promoter member of the VoiceXML Forum, your company may:
- Access unpublished technical documents, specifications, and other materials
- Chair a technical, educational, or marketing committee
- Participate in the technical, educational, and marketing committees
- Vote on committee deliverables, including specifications and other technical documentation
- Sponsor the formation of new technical committees or initiatives and submit new technical proposals or requirements for consideration.
- Access the VoiceXML Platform Certification test suite and test harness
- Submit products and services for inclusion in the VoiceXML Solutions Directory
- Attend free educational Webinars and participate in VoiceXML Forum-sponsored events
- Market your company’s affiliation with the VoiceXML Forum and support for open standards
Annual membership for Promoters is $5,000.
As a Supporter member of the VoiceXML Forum, your company may:
- Access unpublished technical documents, specifications, and other materials
- Participate in the technical, educational, and marketing committees
- Submit products and services for inclusion in the VoiceXML Solutions Directory
- Attend free educational Webinars and participate in VoiceXML Forum-sponsored events
- Market your company’s affiliation with the VoiceXML Forum and support for open standards
Annual membership for Supporters is $500.
To apply for membership in the VoiceXML Forum, complete the following:
- Download the Membership Materials Kit.
- Complete and sign the application.
- Mail the completed application and membership dues (payable to IEEE-ISTO) to:
